Dierks Bentley Releases New Video Inspired by the Stanley Cup Playoffs

I can't say that I am much of a country music fan but this is a pretty neat video put together by Dierks Bentley and the NHL. We give a stick tap to Preds' broadcaster Pete Weber who gave us a heads up that it had been produced.

Bentley's publicist described the video project, "Multi-platinum country music star Dierks Bentley is a longtime hockey fan. Inspired by the Stanley Cup Final, Bentley has released a second music video for his new rowdy sing-a-long party song, “Am I The Only One,” featuring game highlights from the NHL’s 2010-11 season and performance footage from Bentley’s recent tour."

My introduction to knowing who Bentley was came from Ryan Porth's interview for the Fourth Period Magazine a few months ago. Bentley is a hockey fan and plays for a local men's league team when he is in town and is friends with Jordin Tootoo of the Predators.

Contrary to what most people believe about Music City, most of the locals are in fact, not big country fans. The local country music scene is generally fueled by the booming tourist industry.
