Nashville Predators Reveal New Logo at the NHL Awards Show

The Nashville Predators released the four new logos this morning at the NHL Awards Show. These will be  used going forward beginning with the 2011-2012 season.

The primary Predator logo has been simplified with the number of colors reduced reduced from 13 to three which should provide a much cleaner print on clothing, printed material, and digital imagery.

The guitar pick shaped logo with the three stars from the Tennessee state flag will grace the shoulders of the Preds new jerseys. The stylized "NP" will be on the front of the players pants and was first seen a couple of months ago on Pekka Rinne's new mask. The "Nashville Predators" script is also cleaner and simplified.

The Predators new road jerseys will be seen for the first time on Friday night at the NHL Entry Draft in Minnesota. The home jerseys will be revealed at the Skate of the Union at the Bridgestone Arena on July 13 and fans are invited to attend.
