NASHVILLE PREDATORS RECALL FORWARD CHRIS MUELLER

Nashville, Tenn. (December 3, 2011) – Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled forward Chris Mueller (KRIHS MEW-luhr) from Milwaukee (AHL).

Mueller, 25 (3/6/86), leads the Admirals in points (9g-8a-17pts) and is tied for the team lead in points through 19 games in 2011-12. The West Seneca, N.Y., native is also tied for 14th in the AHL in power-play goals (4). A season ago, the 5-11, 203-pound forward appeared in his first 15 NHL contests with Nashville, registering three assists. Signed as a free agent on Dec. 27, 2010, Mueller posted 104 points (42g-62a) in 166 games (missing just four contests total) with Michigan State University from 2004-08, and helped the Spartans win the 2007 NCAA National Championship, ranking fifth in points (3g-2a) during the NCAA Tournament.

Fresh off a 6-5 come-from-behind victory at Vancouver on Thursday, the Predators return to Smashville tonight for the first time since Nov. 22 when they host the Buffalo Sabres (7 p.m., McDonald’s Family 4 Pack Night).
