PredsOnTheGlass Radio Tonight at 7:00 to 8:00 Central

PredsOnTheGlass on Blog Talk Radio

We are on target to have an interesting show tonight with very special Guest Predator writer Rachel from What the Puck as our primary expert on all things Predators.

We have also confirmed Connie Kim from Kings World Podcast to give us the left coast view of tonight’s game against the Kings.

We are also keeping our fingers crossed that Dawn Wassel, Ducks’s fan extraordinaire will be able to join us for some insight on Wednesday’s game with Anaheim. Dawn is the better half of the Program’s Chris Wassel and has bed or couch authority over Chris depending on the outcome of each Duck’s contest.

As always we will discuss recent games including the Caps with Ovie, the Rangers with Avery and Pekka’s big shut out return over the Coyotes. Would the Preds have lost two if Pekka had been in net?

Other topics I’ve run across today include:

A good argument for Pekka getting the Calder Trophy at Section 303

Discussion about the extra point for an OTL that Dirk from On The Forecheck got going on Twitter this AM.

Good Articles from afar as Mark from the View from 111 who is traveling with the team on the west coast swing.

David Bosclairs story about the young Preds at the City Paper makes some good points.

The Tennessean’s story today was about….. Wait a minute. No story. They don’t do that any more when the Preds are on the road. Interesting, how is it that all of the above folks had something to say while the team was out of town. Sounds like another good topic.

Scott Cullen at TSN had a good list of free agents for this summer at Who will the Preds shop for?

What about Marty Brodeur? Is he the best ever?

What about Joel Ward? How can you not like the guy?

Is Sean Avery’s dramatic turnaround permanent?

And as always, who’s in and who’s out in both the East and the West. The numbers at SportsClubStats concern me.

Armed with a cheat sheet from some of our show prep in hand, read up and prepare to call in, discuss, or sit back and ridicule us from afar. If you have other topics to add, email be at buddyoakes@hotmail.com or Tweet me at PredsOnTheGlass prior to the show. As always, the show will be available for listening or download shortly after 8:00 Central.
