Craig Smith Leads Preds Rookies to 7-3 Blowout of Bolts

With very little information flowing out of the Saveology Iceplex, we can still safely say that Craig Smith was clearly the first star of the game, scoring four goals and adding an assist in a 7-3 romp with the Predators kids besting the Bolts youngsters.

According to @NHLPredsinsider Taylor Beck also had a goal and three assists while Gabriel Bourque had four helpers. The Smith, Bourque, and Beck line appear to have been to much to handle for the Tampa squad. Austin Watson and Brent Andrews picked up the other two goals for the Preds.

In net, Chet Pickard played the first half of the game, stopping 20 of 22 shots while Atte Engren stopped 20 of 21in relief.

The Preds will return to the ice on Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. CDT against the Florida squad that beat Tampa 4-2 on Sunday.
