POTG Tuesday Headlines, News and Links: Nasty Night in Philly

Today is one of the last chances for the public to see the Predators practice in the preseason at Centennial Sportsplex as the action will be shifting more and more to the Bridgestone Arena and on to the road.

Bryan Mullen has the update from camp. On ice sessions are scheduled today from 11:30 until 2:30.

Earlier today, we had a story about Pekka Rinne looking to improve on last year's Vezina nominated season.

The latest episodes of Shanahan TV included suspensions for James Wisniewski (rest of preseason and eight regular season games) and Brad Staubitz (rest of the preseason and three regular-season games). Up next appears to be Tom Sestitio's hit on Andre Deveaux in last night's controversy laden Rangers-Flyers game.

Also during the Rangers-Flyers game last night Sean Avery accused Wayne Simmonds of using a homophobic epithet against him during a heated conversation on the ice. This Winter Classic build up is off to a great start. I hope 24/7 got all the controversy on tape. For now we have this from RLD Hockey.
