It should come as little surprise that rookie defenseman Ryan Ellis has been reassigned to Milwaukee. His first foray into the NHL would have to be considered a success but the blueline became crowded with the addition of Hal Gill last week.
After playing with seven defensemen on Sunday in Dallas, Ellis has been a healthy scratch the last two games. He should see plenty of playing time on Milwaukee's top defensive pairing as the Admirals jockey for playoff position in the AHL.
