The Milwaukee Admirals beat the Charlotte Checkers 6-1 on Sunday afternoon and secured their tenth straight postseason berth and will play Abbotsford at home at the Bradley Center beginning on Friday night.
The Admirals are the American Hockey League affiliate of the Nashville Predators and have had a tremendously successful partnership with "the road to Nashville going through Milwaukee" for almost every Predator prospect.

Milwaukee, WI— Milwaukee Admirals President Jon Greenberg, along with the American Hockey League, announced today the schedule for the Calder Cup Western Conference Quarterfinals against the Abbotsford Heat. The two teams will play a best-of-five series that kicks off with game one on Friday, April 20 at 7:00 pm at the Bradley Center.

As the higher seed, the Heat had the choice of playing the first two games on home ice or the final three.
During the regular season the Admirals notched a 3-0-0-1 mark against the Heat, losing their only contest in a shoot-out on October 21st. However, the two team’s haven’t faced-off since February 24th and three of their four meetings took place prior to December. Chris Mueller and Juuso Puustinen led the Ads with five points in the season series against the Heat, while Jeremy Smith played in three of the four contests, going 2-0-1 with a 1.62 goals against average and a .953 save percentage.
Tickets for the first two games are currently on sale and are priced less than regular season tickets again this year. Seats in the Admirals Quarters (all seats on the glass) will run $18, tickets are $15 for Mid-Deck seats (sections 225-203 and 211-217), $12 for Stern seats (sections 204-210), and $10 for Bow (sections 218-224), handicap platform, and child seats. In addition, groups of ten or more still get a minimum of $2 off each ticket.
The Admirals playoff packages include the same seat to each of the Admirals 15 potential post-season home games. Packages are $234 per seat for tickets in the Bow, $252 per seat for tickets in the Stern, $285 for seats in the Mid-Deck, and $342 for seats in the Admirals Quarters.
