Linus Klasen's Stay In Nashville Was A Short One

I'm not sure if Linus Klasen had time for a cup of coffee in his brief NHL stay with the Predators, but he has been returned to Milwaukee after 6:22 minutes of play on Saturday night against the Wings.

I feel sure he will return as needed this season. Hopefully, this is a good sign that others are getting healthy and will be able to play on Wednesday against the Coyotes.

Nashville, Tenn. (November 1, 2010) – Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has reassigned forward Linus Klasen to Milwaukee (AHL).


Klasen, 24 (2/19/86), made his NHL debut on Saturday at Detroit, playing 6:22. He returns to an Admirals team that he leads in goals (7) and points (10).


The Predators continue a five-game road trip at Phoenix on Wednesday (9 p.m. CT, 102.9 FM The Buzz, FOX Sports Tennessee), before stops this weekend at Los Angeles (9 p.m. CT, 102.9 FM The Buzz) on Saturday and Anaheim (7 p.m. CT, 102.9 FM The Buzz, FOX Sports Tennessee) on Sunday. They’ll make a stop in St. Louis (7 p.m. CT, 102.9 FM The Buzz, FOX Sports Tennessee), before returning home to take on the 2010 Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks at Bridgestone Arena on Saturday, Nov. 13 (7 p.m. CT, 102.9 FM The Buzz, FOX Sports Tennessee).
