Early this morning, an account previously thought to be a legitimate one from Jim Ballsillie arose from a long period of dormancy with the following Tweet from a "Make It Seven" linked Twitter account:
From @jimbalsillie: "Hi again, social friends! Very early morning. Nashville bound today! And not to learn how to write a country song. Stay tuned."This was his first Tweet off of this account since May 2009 when he tried a back door move with then Phoenix Coyotes owner Jerry Moyes to purchase the team for $212.5 million.
Two years earlier, in the summer of 2007, Balsillie had tried to buy the Nashville Predators before the current ownership group headed by David Freeman stepped in to keep it local.
So at this point, we are indeed "staying tuned" to see what develops. TSN's Bob McKenzie has been alerted and looking for answers.
Hopefully, the Grinch won't seal Christmas from Predator fans.
