We hope everyone had a great weekend since the world did not come to an end on Saturday. Luckily, we were still able to go see the Nashville RollerGirls defeat Jet City from Everette, Washington 156-67. There were several somewhat skeptical first-timers there and all were impressed and became die-hard fans. Your next opportunity to see the ladies in action is on June 18.
Two more off-season activities for Preds fans are set this week wit a group viewing of The Hangover 2 on Thursday at the Thoroughbred 20 (details soon) and a night at the Sounds Baseball game on Friday.

Canucks 4 Sharks 2...
Yesterday's game in San Jose was a textbook lesson on how special teams should play. The Canucks killed five straight penalties in the first 22 minutes of the game and then scored three power play goals in a span of less than two minutes to take the lead and never looked back in route to their 4-2 victory over the Sharks.
The Canucks only had 13 shots during the contest. Henrik Sedin assisted on all four goals while brother Daniel was in on three. Sami Salo had two goals 16 seconds apart.
The series shifts back to Vancouver on Tuesday where the Canucks can wrap up the Western Conference title and have a few days off before the East is concluded.
Lightning at Bruins...
After taking a 3-0 lead on Saturday, the Boston Bruins fell apart and allowed the Tampa Bay Lightning to score five unanswered goals in route to a 5-3 win. Mike Smith came in to replace Dwayne Roloson but will not get the start tonight in Boston with the series is tied 2-2. Game time is 7 p.m. CDT on Versus.

Got some great trackside pix at the Roller Girls bout, featuring Bomber-blaster Ramb0 Samb0. All they needed was a chorus of "Hands Go Up" after the win.
She didn't have her best bout going early, but pulled a Ryan Kesler and took the team on her back in the second half. A bunch of first-timers fell in love with Derby on Saturday night. Anyone that is a true fan of sport has to appreciate how good Rambo really is.
