Barry Trotz and David Poile each finished third in their respective awards voting at the NHL Awards Show on Wednesday night at the Palms Casino and Resort.
Barry Trotz finished third to Pittsburgh's Dan Bylsma who took home is first Jack Adam's trophy and the President Trophy winning Alain Vigneault who finished second.
In the voting for General Manager of the Year, Vancouver's Mike Gillis finished first thaking home the yet to be named trophy. Poile was a close third finishing six points behind Steve Yzerman.
