Are you ready to go "Pekka-ing" this Friday?

This Friday will be Predator Pride day in Middle Tennessee with hockey fans being encouraged to turn everything into a Predator theme. Don gear bearing the likeness of your favorite Saber Toothed Tiger. Decorate your cube. Pred your ride. Paint your face. Show off that pre-playoff beard. Nothing is off limits in Smashville!

One of the highlights will be the placement around the area of several larger-than-life (that would be real big) cutouts of Predator Goalie, Pekka Rinne making one of his patented Pekka-moves.

"Tebowing" was popular in the past but the next big thing is going to be "Pekka-ing". If you see one of the cutouts, make your best "Pekka-like" move and get someone to snap a picture. If you can't find a cutout, you can go solo on your own.

Once you get your best move on, send your photo in to the Nashville Predators social media sites (Facebook and Twitter) to join in on the fun.

The Predators strongly recommend stretching before any attempt at Pekka-ing.

Have fun with it and be ready for Friday night's game in Detroit and for the Playoff Ticket sale on Saturday befor the Predators face off against Chicago at 7 p.m. at the Bridgestone Arena.
