Grant Returned to Milwaukee

In a release this afternoon, the Nashville Predators reassigned Triston Grant to the Milwaukee AHL affiliate. With the return of Colin Wilson and the potential return of J. P. Dumont in the near future the move was needed to free up a roster spot.

Barry Trotz appeared pleased with his effort so there is a good chance that he will return at some point later in the season. Grant played three games and brought a "Smashville" attitude to the ice while he was here as Trotz described his play last week.

PREDATORS REASSIGN FORWARD TRISTON GRANT TO MILWAUKEE

Nashville, Tenn. (October 13, 2009) – Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has reassigned forward Triston Grant to Milwaukee (AHL). In three games during his recall, Grant amassed nine penalty minutes and averaged 7:14 per game.

Following a one-game trip to Dallas tomorrow night (7:30 p.m. CT, FOX Sports Tennessee and 104.5 The Zone), the Predators return to Sommet Center ice on Thursday night when they host the Central Division rival Chicago Blackhawks at 7 p.m. Tickets to this game, and all other regular season contests are on sale and can be purchased by logging onto nashvillepredators.com.
