Dave Scatchard Returned to Milwaukee

As we speculated this morning, Dave Scatchard was returned to the Milwaukee Admirals this morning. With the return of J. P. Dumont, Scatchard's time with the Predators came to a close for the time being.

Mike Santorelli, who scored a goal on Tuesday against the Sharks and Andreas Thuresson who has been impressive in recent games, were other candidates to return to the AHL but remain with the Predators at this time.

PREDATORS REASSIGN FORWARD DAVE SCATCHARD TO MILWAUKEE

Nashville, Tenn. (November 12, 2009) – Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that forward Dave Scatchard (DAYV SKAT-chuhrd) has been reassigned to Milwaukee (AHL).


Scatchard, 33 (2/20/76), played nine games with Nashville during his recall, posting a pair of assists while leading the team in face-off winning percentage (58%). He played in his first NHL game since Jan. 27, 2007 on Oct. 21 at Boston, and posted his first NHL point since Jan. 7, 2007 at Ottawa the next night.


The Predators wrap up a four-game road trip tonight at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis (7 p.m., FOX Sports Tennessee, 104.5 The Zone). The team will return to Nashville following the game, and open a five-game homestand with the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday at 7 p.m. Tickets to this game, and all other regular season contests are on sale and can be purchased by logging onto nashvillepredators.com.
