POTG Radio Tonight and Monday Tidbits

After a weekend of internet problems we appear to have them resolved and are ready for tonight's POTG Radio show.

This week we will take a look back at the Preds recent success and have a few post game comments from Coach Barry Trotz and a few players on the team's turn-around and recent ability to fire pucks at the net.

We will also have a special look at Thursday night's contest at the Sommet Center between the Preds and the New Jersey Devils. The Devils have the best record in the East and the Preds are playing their best hockey in the last couple of years so it should be a good match-up.

We will have Chris Wassel of The Program and Inside Hockey's Devil's beat writer, Michelle Kenneth to give their take on the Devil's somewhat surprising success this season.

Please tune in live at 7:00 Central or catch us on the podcast later.

In Pred Nation...

In the midst of a good run, John Glennon asks about the third line center position. He also talks about the top line getting back together.

Jim Diamond puts a ribbon on his Forbes criticisms with valid proof from two teams that Forbes had no access to any financial information. Jim also has his weekly Pred prospect roundup.

Mark at The View From 111 had a good piece on the Preds season so far that was posted before Saturday's big win but we are still catching up from our outage so here it is. It's worth a read if you missed it.

See Puck City has an interesting idea that Ilya Kovalchuk would be a good addition to the Preds.

Amazingly, I finished in a tie for second last week in the #SaturdayNHLpicks on Twitter. Everyone can play again this week by making their picks here.

Finally, Congrats to the Carolina Hurricanes and their fans for hanging on for their third victory of the season yesterday. I really do feel for their fans and wonder what I was thinking when I picked the Canes to win the Southeast Division this year.
