Special Information for Saturday's Preseason Game vs. Winnipeg

With the first preseason game of the new season at hand on Saturday at the Bridgestone Arena, the Nashville Predators want you to be aware of several activities surrounding the game as well as the parking situation at LP Field.

There will be a blood drive from 4-8 p.m. and plenty of plaza activities starting at 4:30 p.m. Donation for The Andie and Alex Belak Scholarship Fund will also be collected.

Previously, it was announce that season ticket holders could pick up their "Predator Gold" jerseys in the customer service area.

For those who park at LP Field, shuttles will be available for the standard $3 fare, but the pedestrian bridge across the river will be closed.

NASHVILLE PREDATORS KICK OFF PRESEASON HOME SLATE THIS SATURDAY

Nashville Tenn. (September 22, 2011) –Nashville Predators kick off their preseason home schedule this Saturday at 7 p.m. when they take on the Winnipeg Jets at Bridgestone Arena. Plaza activities begin at 4:30 p.m. with food and beverage options and merchandise kiosks. Highlights from the evening include an American Red Cross Blood Drive and donation collections for The Andie and Alex Belak Scholarship Fund.

WHEN:           Saturday, Sept. 24
                        Blood Drive – 4-8 p.m.
                        Plaza Activities – 4:30 p.m.
                        Doors Open – 5:30 p.m.

WHERE:        Bridgestone Arena (501 Broadway)


NOTES:         Tickets for all preseason games are still available. New jerseys will be on sale in the Pro Shop.

To donate blood fans may either walk up or make an appointment at givelife.org. All fans who make an appointment for the blood drive will receive a Give Blood Play Hockey t-shirt.

Staff will also be collecting donations throughout the night for The Andie and Alex Belak Scholarship Fund.

PARKING NOTES:

Fans who typically take advantage of LP Field’s Lot R should take note that the Shelby Street Pedestrian Bridge will be closed on Saturday from 3-7 p.m. for Wine on the River. Shuttles will still run roundtrip from Lot R to Bridgestone Arena for $3, but foot traffic across the bridge will be prohibited.
