NASHVILLE PREDATORS HEAD COACH BARRY TROTZ IS TODAY'S GUEST ON "NHL HOUR WITH COMMISSIONER GARY BETTMAN"

NEW YORK (November 10, 2011) – Barry Trotz, the first and only head coach in the history of the Nashville Predators, will discuss the approaching milestone of 1,000 games -- for him and the franchise -- on today's NHL Hour With Commissioner Gary Bettman. The show, which encourages fans to call in with questions, airs Thursday nights on NHL.com and on Sirius XM Radio at 6 p.m., ET.

Trotz and the Predators reach the milestone this Saturday, when they host the Montreal Canadiens (7:00p.m. ET, CBC, RDS HD, FS-TN). Only three coaches in NHL history -- Al Arbour (1,500 with the Islanders), Lindy Ruff (1,080 with the Buffalo Sabres) and Bill Reay (1,012 with the Chicago
Blackhawks) -- have coached more games with one team than Trotz, who was named the Predators' coach on August 6, 1997.

NHL Hour with Commissioner Gary Bettman broadcasts live on Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. ET on NHL.com as well as NHL Home Ice (channel 92 on XM and channel 207 on Sirius Premier - formerly known as “The Best of XM”). The show will re-air on Sirius XM Radio, with archived shows available for download via podcast on NHL.com.

The show encourages fans to call in with questions. To submit questions to NHL Hour call 1-877-NHL-ON-XM (1-877-645-6696). NHL Hour with Commissioner Gary Bettman is a production of NHL Radio.
