POTG Predators Seven Stories: Meetings Kill Creativity Edition

  1. With the 1000th Preds game being the 1000th game for Coach Barry Trotz, it's hard to say which is more exciting. If you read this classic piece by John Manasso about Trotz, you will be ready to celebrate his long road to where he is today. This is really the Trotz epistle to end all others.
  2. Jeremy Gover has the story of the Predators' "big three" being listed on the 2012 NHL All-Star Ballot that will be ready for voting on November 14.
  3. Josh Farrar has a feature on his persistence paying big dividends this season at The Hockey Writers.
  4. Matt Halischuk has exceeded expectations in this post from Jeremy Sergeant.
  5. Hockey Hot Chicks thinks Craig Smith is the real deal.
  6. Here is a TV news story from Fox 6 in Milwaukee on the Predators' and Admirals' skating coach Shawn Allard. He has worked with the team since the preseason and was someone that Mike Fisher had known in Ottawa. The Preds brought him in to see what he could do and have been pleased with the results.
  7. There is a brief report from Milwaukee that Roman Josi has practiced with the Admirals for a couple of days in a row and may be eyeing a return soon.

Odds and Ends... A point is made in this post that nothing creative was ever actually produced in a meeting. Who would be awake to know if it it was?

More Later...
